Another Fantastic Leyland Festival!
This year's Leyland Festival was another success for the Academy - 2000 balloons were squeezed onto the float - the most balloons we have had yet!  more

Building Improvements
We are pleased to announce the academy has been awarded £325,000 from the Education Funding Agency to refurbish our kitchen and dining facilities.  more

Worden Becomes a DofE Directly Licensed Centre!
From the 1st April 2017 the Academy will be a Directly Licensed Centre and will be running both the Bronze and the Silver Award (2018).  more 
School Health Needs Assessment
This year the school will be taking part again in the School Health Needs Assessment (SHNA) in partnership with the school nurse teams from Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust.  more
